How to Get Free Traffic by Dominating Niche Keywords

I'm going to make this article straight and to the point, anyone who knows me knows how I hate writing articles, but since it's the nature of the beast in this online world in which we live and do business, I guess I gotta grin and bear it! Oh, and I write like I talk so no pansy comments about how I misspelled yo momma or said gotta instead of got to! You want free traffic right? So let's get to it!

I love the phrase "It goes without saying" cuz in the marketing business there is no such thing! I'm going to spell it all out like I'm talking to my 7-year old son, if ya don't get than there's nothing I can do! First things first. You must have some sort of niche. A niche is a specific topic, like internet marketing, online dating, yada yada yada. There can be many sub-niche's within, but you must have something picked out.

Once you have your niche picked (that was fun to say, niche picked!) you need either a website or a blog. In my opinion, both work just as well with the exception that having your own site gives you more freedom and flexibilty, but for this purpose, a blog works just fine. Grab yourself some articles, about 5-10 of them or write some content yourself. Get a good amount so you like an authority. Got that? Good, let's keep
going!

For the purpose of an example, let's use the niche " Celebrity Wigs" Didn't even know that was a niche, did ya? Well not only is it, but a very profitable one as well! Most wigs sell for an average of $300! That's big money when you see what we can do! Ok, now go to Google's Keyword Tool and type your niche in. In order to get the free traffic we need to be on Google first page. Sounds tough huh? You not listening to me!

Our objective in the keyword search is to find low competition keywords with a decent amount of traffic. Anything with 1000 or more searches a month is pretty good, and keeping the competition under 50,000. If you can meet those 2 criteria your in business! There is more out there than you might imagine. At the time of this writing, I have found 7 keywords under celebrity wigs! The keyword "celebrity cute" is getting 5,400 monthly searches and only 22,000 competing sites! You can pretty much write one article and get listed for that! To find out how much competition there is, simply open another tab and Google that keyword with parenthesis around it. Continue to do this with as many phrases as you can think of that relates to your niche and build yourself a decent sized keyword list. Still with me? Moving on!

Where's the Free Traffic dufus! Hold on, I'm getting there! After you have your list, your going to want to join some social network sites. I thought about listing them here, but considering Onlywire has a huge list that you can use for Free I thought, Nah! Your also going to want a decent list of ping sites to ping your blog or website. Wordpress blogs will automatically ping after each post but it only sends to ping-o-matic so here is a list to add to your wordpress blog or do do manually for other blogs or websites.

There are more out there, but these ones have great pageranks and are all dofollow! What we are going to do is create a "linkwheel" where all these sites point back to our main site and are connected to it's neighbor. This is a long and tedious process but automated junkies fear not for there is a way to automate all of this, I'll explain at the end. Let's call your main money site "Hub" and all the web 2.0 sites "Link". Link 1
connectes to Link 2 and the Hub. Link 2 connectes to Link 3 and the Hub, and so forth and so on. The more web properties pointing back to your main money site the faster you'll get to page 1!

Now we get to the part where it starts to get exciting! Pick 1 keyword from your list and make sure that each one of the web 2.0 properties

you create has an article centered around that keyword and has it in the title AND in the url. Use that keyword as your hyperlink back to your site. Gosh, I really hope you guys are understanding what I'm talking about by hyperlinking cuz my hands are getting tired! For each linkwheel, use at least 6 web 2.0 sites linked like we just said. Ping every one at each ping site. If you can, it really help alot to social bookmark each one as well. Now here's the kicker. Take one of those 6 web sites, and create another linkwheel with it, using it as the "Hub". This is by far the looooooongest part and can get quite tiresome, but remember I said there's a way to automate it all, it'll cost ya a couple of bucks but is well worth it! For those though that are like me when I started, don't have a pot to piss in, you'll have to do it manually but it will pay off!

So now we have a low competition keyword, wrote an article about it on our money site, created a linkwheel around it, pinged and social bookmarked them all, and even though your probably sick of looking at your screen by now, there's still something left to do. Think of a
question with that keyword in it. Now go to these 3 sites and create 2 accounts at each.

answers.yahoo.com
wiki.answers.com
blurtit.com

This 3 sites have a Huge amount of authority. Simple enough strategy, ask the question with one account, answer it with a link back to your site with the other! Works like a dream, and sometimes you get ranked instantly! I've been shot to the 2nd or 3rd spots as soon as I hit submit!

That's it in a nutshell I guess. I'm sure I left out some details but hopefully you get the gist of how it goes! Using this strategy has placed me on the first page of Google too many times to count, sometimes multiple spots in the top 5! Before I go I wanted to remind you of the automation tool I was telling you about, many of you probably already know of it or have, but it's called SENuke. Please feel free to leave me a comment if I missed anything, if you like the idea, or if you just want to abuse me and get a free backlink! Free Traffic awaits us all!

What Is Marketing

Marketing is the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas or goods and services, that will ultimately satisfy a customer demand.

Consciously or unconsciously, every one of us does render some service or another, maybe an idea even. So why there such a high percentage of products on the market that just don't survive? Well in most cases, the problem lies not in the idea or service itself, but in the cultivation thereof.

Lets try and analyse where most businesses go wrong:

Most small businesses don't have a Marketing plan
Successful businesses thrive because every single person in the organisation is aware of where the business is going. In other words, the business is as a result of one mans vision, and with the help every employee, the company as a whole is dedicated to see that vision through.
A Marketing plan helps to achieve this kind of focus and when used effectively, it will ensure that the business is able to adapt to todays dynamic business environment and changing customer needs.

They tend to confuse Sales with Marketing
One important fact to remember is that Sales is a direct byproduct of effective Marketing. The objective of sales is to increase revenue that the company generates by distributing products and services, none of which would be possible if the consumer of that product had no information on which to base their purchase. Although it is important not to confuse the two, Sales and Marketing together with PR tend to work hand-in-hand and removing any one of these from the chain could result in failure.

“We don't need marketing, we're a small company”
That should be that exact reason as to why a business does need to have a marketing process. Lets be honest, no business owner wants to remain the same size forever and to just keep breaking even. But the only way of changing that is to be proactive, know what the market is, where its going and where you fit in.

Marketing gurus say that Marketing is an art, not a science. We could argue this point forever but the bottom line is that I don't believe it is. You can learn how to Market but can you learn how to draw beautifully. Marketing is not some God given talent that only those born with can exploit, it is a process, a method, a way of succeeding that you can start learning right now.

Take a look at our download sections where can find all the necessary stuff to get you started. A Marketing plan template, Sales forecasting and much more. Alternatively, you could download our e-book that contains brilliant insight into Sales, Marketing and PR and all the tools you need to get that Marketing process started.

How To Make Money Online

There are three ways you can make money on the internet. The fastest and easiest way to start making money online is to sell other people products through affiliate program. However, regardless of your options, the fundamental or common basic process remains unchanged below:

Option 1 – Making money by creating your own website and products
Step 1 – Decide & sell your own products
Step 2 - Create your own website to host your products
Step 3 -Test your website functionality and ensure all are in order
Step 4 - Promote your products & website
Step 5 - Provide after sales support

Option 2 – Making money by selling other people products and earn commission through affiliate program
Step 1 - Research what you want to sell
Step 2 - Join supplier's affiliate / referral program
Step 3 - Promote your affiliate link obtained from your supplier

Option 3 - Making money by selling other people products and earn commission through affiliate program but build a pre-sell website of your own (such as blogs)
Step 1 - Research what you want to sell
Step 2 - Join supplier's affiliate / referral program
Step 3 – Build your own website or blogs
Step 4 - Promote your affiliate link obtained from your supplier through your website or blogs

Question – which is the best option to choose? It’s all depending on your preferences and objective. If you just started or new to make money on the internet, the best option is Option 2.Once you get yourself at least some basic knowledge on how to promote and advertise on the internet, then only you start building your own website or blogs and move to Option 3.

Second reason, starting with Option 2 is free and you can start immediately. In order to create your products & website, you need to spend a lot times to learn the techniques & the technical know how. Easily, 80-90% of the time will be spend on learning the how to, instead of focusing on getting the sales.

For a beginner, it can be very confusing at time and a lot of distractions whenever they look for information at this stage. As such, it is very important for beginner to remain focus and select the best affiliate program that suit their objective. One of the best criteria to select the best affiliate program is to choose those that provide training to beginners. This would help the beginners to clear all their doubt and cut short their learning curve. It also help the beginners not to spend their money on unnecessary items.

When it comes to learning though, there are two ways you can go about it. You can do lots of trial and error, and you'll probably get there eventually, or you can learn from the people who have already made it and take a short-cut to success.

Out there, the difference between a millionaire super affiliate and a someone who has never sold anything online before is that the super affiliate has made a commitment to themselves to learn the skills
necessary to be successful - and then they've put the work in to achieve it!
