Is On-Line Teaching The Best Way To Learn ?

There are always pros and cons for any subject but for me personally it would be a yes .This is because I am not an extremely sociable person and I hate having to go to something every week at a set time. I have tried courses at the local college before and I know I give up half way through. I just don't like having to go at a set time becaue maybe at that time I want to do something els. Alex's course is a godsend. as I can follow it from the comfort of my home and if for some reason I cannot attend the days teaching then I know I can always access it a few days later from the website. This is a great course and i am learning a lot but (yes there is always a but ) from what I have heard and learned of some of the students on the course I think it should be split into 2 or maybe 3 parts. Say a beginners course for complete "newbies" or for people like myself who find it difficult to pick things up quickley and take a lot longer to grasp the fundementals. Another part for those who have already had some experience of on-line marketing and just need a little bit of help to get the money rolling in. Right thats my thoughts on the subject so far. I welcome your feedback (good or bad) as regards this subject. Des

Starting again

This will be my first post on my new blog. Yes "new" because until last weekend I had a blog on here charting my training with Alex Jeffrey's . Like the 499 other students i was doing quiet well or so I thought. I had managed to put up my Profit Pulling site by following the videos that Alex gave us 2nd Dec. For me it was a very big learning curve to be able to put up a web site but I did it. Not first time I must admit it took me a few goes before I got it right. As for my blog well that was another matter. Last week I uploaded a "download" plugin. Followed all the instructions and it looked ok. The following day I went to update my blog and after getting to my admin page I clicked a page and "Bang" up came an "505 Internal Server error" . What have I done ? checked by doing a search on Google and found out I had to contact Hostgator. Tried the on-line support no good couldn't get through so I rang them . Spoke to a nice guy who put it right for me straight away. Went back to admin clicked  theme and "Bang ' again Internal Server error. God what have i done now. Over the next few days by calling Hostgator or e-mailing them I finally came to the point where they were going to try and put back my blog using the back up. This was last Monday during the "brainstorming "session. By now I was panicking. At 1.40 am I gave up left the brainstorming and Hostgator and went to bed. Tuesday I made one last attempt to sort things out so rang Hostgator and a very nice guy told me that the "download" plugin had over written some files on my blog and caused the error. He told me to remove Wordpress and do a new installation which I did and this is where we are at now. My next job will be to get traffic and visitors . That will be my next post.So beware the dreaded Plugins . They may be harmless but they can ruin all your work.
