Advanced SEO Tricks And Keyword Research

Today I want to bring you one of my more advanced tricks that's ridiculously easy to implement but very few people seem to know about it. I've written it with a focus on blog posting but you can use it for other types of sites pretty easily.

Step 1: Add a second level header (h2) tag to your blog post -Make sure it contains your keywords and this will help your general SEO effort on it's own.

Step 2: Publish your post and get the URL for it. This should include your keywords in someway.

Step 3: Edit your post and make the h2 a link as well (in HTML that's Your header) and make it link to itself. Make sure that link includes the full address starting with http://!

Now, whenever anyone steals your post from your RSS feed or wherever (which people do all the time with autoblogs) you can see where the content is and you get a backlink for no additional work! However you cannot underestimate the choice of right keywords in your SEO efforts. You can do everything right in SEO but choose the wrong keyword and all your efforts go waste.
